Gartner Report Identifies Profinit as one of the Vendors in “Accelerated Technology Modernization”

The recent Gartner® Report “Competitive Landscape: IT Service Providers to the Global Insurance Industry” published on June 29, 2022, recognised Profinit as one of the vendors in the field. The report included Profinit as an example of a vendor that provides “strong execution in application consolidation, legacy infrastructure and application migration, adopting cloud infrastructure and deploying API gateways for multichannel access.”

Profinit is featured in the Gartner Report “Competitive Landscape: IT Service Providers to the Global Insurance Industry”, as a vendor that is strong in accelerated technology modernisation. Profinit accelerates technology modernisation with the client’s long-term strategy in mind, providing enterprises with future-proof solutions and partnerships that will continue to serve and be viable, even in a changing landscape.

Profinit has developed and uses a modernisation framework geared to delivering functional, robust and agile systems that perform over the long term. This professional approach to legacy ensures the needs of enterprise-wide modernisation are met across both business and IT.

Legacy systems are not limited to large insurance companies. Profinit also has experience with legacy systems modernisation in banks, fintechs and it also supplies its services to pharmaceutical and telecommunications companies.

For example, M.M. Warburg & Co, a major German independent bank, needed a tailored modernisation strategy in order to provide the bank’s existing system with the functionalities it required. Profinit successfully released a suite of cost-efficient and robust applications for the client in a very short time. This nearshoring solution resulted in savings of 65%, compared to German providers and the bank’s ability to meet market challenges was significantly expedited. Now, the Hamburg-based company continues its cooperation with Profinit in a nearshore partnership.

Profinit also has experience in modernising the 15-year-old front-office system at Česká spořitelna (the Czech arm of Erste Group Bank). The result was an increase in business value, an optimised user experience, and a reduction in error rates, technical debt and maintenance costs. The new well-documented architecture enables future integration with other systems and is scalable.
